What is Wander Wild Festival?
Wander Wild Festival is Ireland’s great outdoors festival, celebrating adventure, wellness and nature. The programme includes guided outdoor experiences, special guest speakers, lake and mountain adventures, and opportunities to unwind and reconnect with the landscape of Killarney.
It’s a chance to experience the outdoor adventure capital of Ireland in a unique, welcoming and non-competitive way.
When does the festival take place?
The festival takes place over three days: April 17th, 18th, and 19th, 2026.

Tickets for all speaker and ticketed events are available directly through our website.

Can I cancel my tickets?
Tickets can be cancelled up to 7 days in advance of the event.
Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued after this time.

Is transport provided to events and activities?
We encourage attendees to walk or cycle where possible.
Bikes can be booked through O’Sullivan’s Cycles Killarney (electric bikes subject to availability).
Some events may include transport – please check individual event listings for details.
Activities, Safety
& Preparation
Preparation is key to enjoying the outdoors safely. This section covers activity difficulty levels, equipment requirements, timing expectations and what to know before taking part in mountain, lake and adventure experiences.
How difficult are the organised walks?

What should I bring for mountain events?
Each event page includes a “What to Bring” section.
Please follow this checklist carefully and come prepared, regardless of the weather. Conditions in the mountains can change quickly.
Are wetsuits provided for kayaking events?
Yes. All necessary equipment is provided for kayaking events.
If you have your own wetsuit, you’re welcome to bring it. Wearing a swimsuit underneath is recommended.
Do I just arrive at the event start time?
